Traveling has definitely become one of my greatest passions, between traveling just for the pure joy of it and seeing what is out in the world to going on mission trips to less fortunate countries. My first mission trip was to Trinidad in 1999 and it pretty much changed my life forever. Because I was so young I think it had that more of an effect on me. It allowed me to see how good I really have it here and how much I was taking advantage of. Not only the experience but also the impact that I witnessed from visiting the orphanages and handing out clothes and toys, such a simple task meant so much the kids there, it was absolutely unbelievable. Since that first trip I have been to Trinidad two more times as well as Ecuador once and have just recently been to Uganda. My travels are not ending there though. After I graduate from college I'm planning on eventually applying or the Peace Corps and will hopefully be sent to Thailand. After that, who knows ...
